Alina Ilnazovna Zagitova has been an Russian skater for over a decade. She was the Olympic and World champions in 2018, European champions in 2017 and 2017 Grand Prix Final Champion, and was also the Russian national champ of 2018. Alina Zagitova is one of Russia's best ever figure skaters. Russia is happy to see the first person ever in its history winning Olympic gold, World Figure Skating Championships (WFC), European Figure Skating Championships (ECSC) as well as the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Also, she's the only female Muslim. Kamila Valieva, an Russian figure skater who has been awarded gold medals at the four previous Olympics and World Championships in Figure Skating as well as European Championships and Grand Prix Finals in Europe is the first Muslim athlete to earn an Olympic Gold along with a world championship and 'Super Slam.
